Carrie on...

I'm not a huge TV fan. But when it comes to TV characters in sequels that teach about life, I can't get enough of Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) in Sex and The City.
Since I started watching the show I fell in love with all the characters, but it was Carrie's way of thinking and simply being, that made me like it a little more each episode. To the point where she became sort of my non-existent role model.
Anyways, Here are probably the best life lessons that this show taught me, and I'm so glad I watched.

1. "As we drive along in this road called life, occasionally a gal will find herself a little lost. And then that happens, I guess she has to let go of the coulda, shoulda, woulda, buckle up and just keep going."

2. "When in comes to life and love, why do we believe our worst reviews?"

3."If you are single, there is one thing you should take out on Saturday Night... Your friends."

4."Can you really forgive, if you can't forget?"

5."Maybe our mistakes are what make our faith."

Beyond all she taught us all to...

"Fashion fades, STYLE is forever"

Let's face it, Fashion is a Luxury for all of us women.
Some are lucky to have the luxury for the latest fashion; And well, as for the rest of us, we are lucky to reveal our true personalities through STYLE or personal style.
It's very intriguing to see girls and women on the streets of the world showing their own person by what they chose to wore that day.
Here are some of my favorites I've seen so far from Street Style:
I have no benefit of the doubt that these three girls live completely different lifestyles, yet they all share something in common: PERSONAL STYLE.
PARIS:
MILAN:

NEW YORK:
ALWAYS EMBRACE STYLE. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, EMBRACE PERSONALITY.

My Morning Glories

Ask anyone that knows me and they will describe me as a happy-go-lucky girl with miles of dreams.
But ask anyone who knows me to the core and they will tell you that I am a terrible morning person.
Don't get me wrong, mornings are amazing, and waking up into another shot at life with another day is wonderful; There is just something about the alarm clock interrupting my sweet dream, that irritates me.
I, myself don't even like being around myself in the morning, so I had to find things that I could do to tolerate my bad morning personality and so far on my list are:
1. STARBUCKS
*Me, in a GOOD morning in a Starbucks @NYC*
(Not only the coffee, but just walking into a Starbucks is a mood picker upper for me)

2. Michael Buble
 (a.k.a my obsession)

3. Drives that look like these:
*Perfect summer drive in sunny San Diego*

But hey, I'm young and in my way of discovering more things to build myself up into a Morning Person :).
In the meantime I hope my peeps are patient with my morning me!

Potholes...

Mexico is full of beauty and culture all over.
But as everything else, it has its pros and cons.
Living here has been amazing, but there are things that just won't go unnoticed, one of those things are potholes. It's like an epidemic, they are all over the busy Mexican streets, and so when I saw this photography work by Claudia Ficca + Dacid Luciano, I couldn't resist to post.
This is creativity to its max, Enjoy!

Indie, Jazz, pop, blues ?

Music is beyond extraordinary.
I've always loved it, all kinds of it.
It was only until today, when my brother asked me what was my kind of music.
I actually gave this one a thought while sitting on the passenger seat, and figured that for my part, it's not the instrumental melody that I am in love with, but the lyric.
My favorite music is meaningful lyrics that include words put together in a smart and beautiful way.
No wonder I hate reggeaton.

"Accion Poetica" ; "Poetic Action"

Mexico and I go long on history.
Spanish is my first language and Mexico is home.
People all over the globe have different stereotypes for Mexico, some good and some terrible.
Today I want to show you the Urban, unique, artistic, and POETIC of my B-E-A-UITIFUL Mexico.
These are legal and thoughtful poetic graffitis that are all over the city of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. The creator of these words as simple art is Armando Alanis Pulido, and has been doing this for 15 years. Enjoy!
"You empty the empty"

"Some things have to be believed to be seen."
"Moments fly away like birds."
"Let's make Soul."

Less is more applies on this one, don't you think?
